Satan's Satellites

This feature was a chopped-up version of Republic's 12-part ZOMBIES OF THE STRATOSPHERE (1952). Holdren, an ever present minor space opera hero, is a caped rocketeer who heads off to Mars in order to stop an evil plot to destroy the earth with atomic weapons. The plot is old hat, with a robot borrowed from THE MYSTERIOUS DR. SATAN and footage from KING OF THE ROCKET MEN tossed in as well. Perhaps the only thing of note in this poorly made film was the presence of Nimoy, here playing an evil Martian henchman, in his pre "Star Trek" days.
