Alan Ladd is a Mountie in Canada (it was shot around Banff in the Canadian Rockies) who has been out trapping with Silverheels. The two men were raised together in a Cree village and are blood brothers. Ladd is going back to work at Mountie headquarters in Saskatchewan and Silverheels is returning to the village.
