Todd is a British police investigator whose search for murder clues in an African hospital leads him to a hidden diamond mine. This film is based on an Edgar Wallace novel and co-written by Nicolas Roeg, whose career also encompasses cinematography (FAHRENHEIT 451, PETULIA) and direction (DON'T LOOK NOW, WALKABOUT).
