Saintly Sinners

A pair of minor con artists (Bryar and Clements) grab a car that belongs to Hagerthy, an ex-con trying hard to make it as a salesman. The pair rob a bank and put the swag in the car's spare tire. Before they can retrieve the money, a collection agency repossesses the car. It's then bought by Beddoe, a parish priest who drives off on a fishing trip. But a sharp-eyed cop stops him en route and, not realizing the man garbed in fisherman's clothes is really a priest, arrests him for bank robbery. Beddoe's let go the next day, and Hagerthy is arrested for the crime. The cops complain that Beddoe is using his church to harbor a criminal, so the priest is transferred to a...
