O'Keefe is an American boat owner and former smuggler forced by Ryan's gang to sail them from Barcelona to Tangiers. The gang kills O'Keefe's son and injures his shipmate, Hayter, sending O'Keefe into an avenging rage. He kills two members of the gang and gains police assistance in
