Sahara

An unrelentingly idiotic adventure story about Dale (Brooke Shields), the daughter of Detroit car designer R.J. Gordon (Steve Forrest). When he dies during a test run, Dale agrees to take his place in a treacherous endurance race through the Sahara. It's the 1920s, however, and women aren't allowed behind the wheel, so Dale dons a hat and mustache and passes herself off as a man. Complications arise when tribal wars make the Sahara dangerous and Dale winds up as a prisoner of Rasoul (John Rhys-Davies), a mad sheik.
