Autry is back in the saddle again, but the focus is more on the plot this time, rather than his singing. Autry is the leader of Hamilton's Rangers, a group brought into the northern Michigan territory (circa 1827) to stop the Indians from attacking the settlers. It turns out the Indians
have been hired by fur-trapping king Borden to keep settlers out of his little empire. While everyone else blames the Indians, Autry knows Borden is behind the trouble and sets out to prove it. More of a detective movie, with just a handful of trademark barroom brawls and gunfights. Autry sings
"Beautiful Dreamer," and Burnette performs "Learn I Love You."
