A Safe Place

This hippie-like fantasy has Weld returning to her childhood and to a place where she feels safe. An almost complete absence of character development leaves plenty of questions about Weld's life. The film is set in only a few locations and doesn't provide much explanation for anything. Writer-actor-editor Jaglom made his directorial debut with A SAFE PLACE, which was a critical and box-office disaster.
