A marvelous black comedy full of the wit and journalistic wisdom of Ben Hecht, this was one of the first of the screwball comedies, and it's still as funny today as when it was first filmed. Fredric March stars as none-too-scrupulous reporter who thinks he's onto a great story when he learns that small-town gal Carole Lombard is dying of radium poisoning.
