British comic Howerd--in his screen debut--is a bus driver who finds himself inadvertently involved in a gold heist. Howerd is driving a bus load of passengers and a stolen cargo of gold from one airport to another in a blinding fog. The mixed nuts of passengers and the bumbling Howerd
make this light comedy an enjoyable, but soon forgotten, ride. Rutherford is superb as the feisty, umbrella-wielding old virago who turns out to be the criminal mastermind.
