This zany British film stars comic cockney Shiner as a corporal hoping to get promoted, so he can receive an inheritance. He gets his chance when he dresses as a priest and spends a night out with the vicar's wife, blonde glamor girl Gynt. Before long, however, there are nearly half a dozen priests running around--some real, some fake. It turns out that one, Farrell, is an escaped convict, and is apprehended by Shiner.
