The Last Run: Review

A confusing, muddled film directed by Fleischer but begun by John Huston. Scott is a former driver for the Chicago mob, who is talked into making one last run. His job is to drive escaped convict Musante and his girl friend, Van Devere, from Spain to France. Scott pays for this one last job with his life. Most interesting is the appearance of Dewhurst, the former Mrs. Scott, and Van Devere, the future Mrs. Scott, in the same film. Photography by Nykvist is an asset. leave a comment
