Funnier than most so-called "spaghetti Westerns," director Mario Bava's breezy take on the Butch Cassidy-styled buddy picture still has plenty of what you've come to expect from this Italian-spin on what's usually though of as a purely American genre: grit, grime, bullets and blood. It's also got striking splashes of color and a number of inventive shots typical of Bava's better know horror movies. Brett Halsey anc Charles Southwood star as two former partners in an outlaw gang who find themselves racing after the same pot of gold buried somewhere in a desert cemetery.
