An interesting Frank Capra-influenced (MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON) oater, this has Autry cast as a congressman exposing a politician who is holding up a flood control bill. The Washington politico plans to buy up large quantities of land and then sell them for a big profit after the bill is passed.
