The Root Of All Evil: Review

Calvert makes a fortune in oil by stepping on a few peoples' backs and eventually hooks up with mining engineer Rennie. They make more than their share of cash but, to Calvert's dismay, romance doesn't play a part. An act of revenge by a disgruntled farmer helps Calvert come to her senses. Some fine performances can't put a sheen on the dull script. leave a comment
