Curtis plays a soldier bound for Korea in this lifeless comedy. Before leaving he and girl friend Laurie elope to Las Vegas. Upon returning from the war, Curtis finds himself fighting a different kind of battle. It seems Laurie lives with her mother, father, and more relatives than the family in CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN.
