Baxter plays a man who, after a long absence, returns to his grandfather's hacienda, much to the pleasure of the older man. Gramps is afraid that his less-than-desirable nephew, Moreno, will be his heir, but Baxter eases the old fellow's mind and wins the hand of Maris. Crisply photographed by Arthur Edeson, who the same year was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on IN OLD ARIZONA, and the following year for ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. leave a comment
