Linda Hayes is the owner of a trading post who lives in the East, but has hired Pawley to manage the business out West. Concerned with his honesty, Hayes pays a visit incognito. She learns that Pawley is part of an outlaw gang stealing furs through the post. With the help of Rogers and his
