Lewis stars in this Frank Tashlin directed film as a gawky TV repairman who falls in love with actress Maxwell. She couldn't care less about Lewis, and instead weds a Mexican bullfighter who dies the next day. She is pregnant, however, and due to star in a religious epic entitled "The
White Virgin on the Nile." Lewis comes to the rescue by agreeing to watch after her newborn. His hands are full when she unexpectedly delivers triplets. He ends up marrying the actress' sister, Stevens, who gives birth to quintuplets. Lewis got Sammy Cahn and Harry Warren to pen a few tunes for
the occasion, including "In the Land of La La La" (sung by Lewis and son Gary Lewis), "Dormi, Dormi, Dormi" (sung by Lewis and Baccaloni), "The White Virgin of the Nile" (sung by Maxwell), "Love is a Lonely Thing," and "Why Can't He Care for Me?"
