McGraw, an insurance investigator, falls in love with Dixon, an easy-living woman with a penchant for money and the pleasures it can buy. She tells McGraw that she is falling for him, but is afraid that his income will not support her tastes. They decide to marry anyway, but not before McGraw gets involved in a scheme to steal more than $1 million in bills which are about to be destroyed.
