The Road Warrior: Review
With the possible exception of its predecessor, Mad Max, no other film has impacted how movies visualize our postapocalyptic future. Mel Gibson reprises his role as a vengeance-driven drifter who helps a colony of good guys fight off a pack of grotesque desert rats who are after their gasoline. Director George Miller brings every visual trick in the book into play, and the tale rips along with a G-force all its own.
