This addition to the "Road" series is told in flashback, as a wealthy couple, Chester Hooton (Bob Hope) and Sal Van Hoyden (Dorothy Lamour), recall how they got rich. They'd gained control of a Klondike gold mine but lost their best friend, Duke Johnson (Bing Crosby), in the process. While they reminisce, he suddenly pops in, very much alive.
