Road To Salina

Rita Hayworth makes one of her later appearances in this better than average drama about a young wanderer who happens upon a desert cafe and gas station. The proprietor (Hayworth) insists that he is her long-lost son and, although he is disbelieving, he accepts her offer of room and board. An incestuous relationship develops between the wanderer and his "sister," Hayworth's daughter. In an attempt to resolve his mounting confusion, the young man digs into the family history and learns the shocking truth about the nature of his "sister's" behavior.
