The Road Is Fine

1930, Movie, NR, 75 mins

starstarstarstar
After directing COCOANUTS, the first Marx Brothers feature, Robert Florey went back across the Atlantic to film this French musical, shot in England's Elstree studio. Bauge plays a poor boy whose vocal talents send him to the top of the entertainment world. He has a great voice, but, unfortunately, none of the tunes is worthy of a second listening.
