Rising Damp: Review

This witty, well-paced British farce focuses on the happenings at a boarding house run by Leonard Rossiter. Devoid of a standard plot line, the picture blends together many sketches to create a snappy little story. At its center is Rossiter's attempt to catch the girl of his dreams, Frances De La Tour. Denholm Elliott does a nice turn as a confidence man. leave a comment
