Ring Of Spies

This film depicting the uncovering of a British spy ring caught revealing information to the Soviets concentrates on factual evidence leading up to the crack in the case. Lending an air of authenticity, shots of the actual spies appear in the opening frames. Lee plays the man fired from his position at the British Embassy in Warsaw for security reasons, making him easy prey for a blackmail scheme by Soviet agents. He befriends aging spinster Tyzack in order to gain access to the keys to the safe, which are in her possession.
