A young boy and girl fall in love but their marriage is opposed. The couple can't fight their urges, though, and the girl ends up pregnant. The boy is killed soon after, leaving the girl alone in the world. When an older man begins to show interest in her, the family encourages the romance, and she reluctantly agrees to marry the man.
