Riders Of The Dawn

Richmond is the bad guy who runs a small western town, and marshal Randall is out to stop him. The film climaxes with an exciting fight between Randall and Richmond on a runaway stagecoach. The fight ends with an improbable act of God, when Richmond is killed by a bolt of lightning. This film had some novel ideas and good action sequences, but ultimately ended up an inept production. Plot is sacrificed for speed, making for an often confusing story line. Worst of all was the unconvincing synching of Randall's songs; his voice and lip movements never match and his guitar obviously is being played by someone else.
