A typical Disney affair with beautiful location work in the Australian outback. A wild pony causes two children--one (Bettles) the son of a poor farmer, the other a disabled rich girl (Griffith)--to fight over its ownership. Though Griffith is introduced in the most maudlin fashion possible, she makes much of the role, giving the best performance in the film.
