When eager young jockey Corn Cob Kelly (Marvin Stephens) accidentally falls in with some gamblers, his refusal to throw a race causes them to replace him with an older rider. However, thanks to Duke Martin (Eugene Pallette), the trainer who took Corn Cob off the ranch and onto the track, the ambitious lad enters the "fixed" race anyway, much to the gamblers' chagrin, and wins more than the heart of Duke's daughter (Rita Quigley). leave a comment
