Singing cowboy Ritter sets out to avenge the murder of his pal and winds up helping a young Mexican, Garralaga, clear his name from every murder that's occurred north of the border. The real culprits are a band of crooks who've thought out a complicated plan to rid the valley of ranchers
and thus get their hands on the gold deposits. Ritter manages a few songs en route to his good deed, includeing "Mexicali Moon," "Rhythm of the Rio Grande," and "Pablo, the Mexican Bandit."
