Essentially a saccharine soap opera, RHAPSODY is saved by some fabulous European locations, lushly romantic concertos, and above all else, a superb performance by a 21-year-old Taylor. She stars as a rich girl with an insatiable desire to be needed by men, especially young violinist Gassman. He loves Taylor but not as much as he loves his music.
