A cool, quirky account of Claus von Bulow's trial for the attempted murder of his wife, Martha "Sunny" von Bulow. Neither docudrama nor out-and-out fiction, the film is a darkly humorous, determinedly ambiguous delight. Ron Silver stars as Claus's lawyer, Alan Dershowitz; Glenn Close is the doomed Sunny.
