Lighthearted story has nine-year-old Perreau traveling to Reno to apply for a divorce from her parents, Erickson and Dee. Stevens plays the lawyer who is willing to take the case, with the intention of getting to the bottom of the matter--that is, to find out why the girl wants this divorce.
