Never released to theaters and with good reason, THE RETURN is a goofy, tedious science-fiction film about three Earthlings--a prospector (Vinnie Schiavelli) and two children--who have your basic close encounter with a UFO and are forever affected by it. Twenty years later the kids have grown up to be a brilliant research scientist (Cybil Shepherd) and a deputy (Jan-Michael Vincent), while the prospector, who hasn't aged a day, has a penchant for killing cattle. Also on hand are Raymond Burr as Shepherd's father, and Martin Landau in the role of a marshal. leave a comment
