Resurrection

Still grieving over the death of his child, burnt-out police detective John Prudhomme (Christopher Lambert) is summoned to investigate a murder in which the victim was dismembered alive. After scrutinizing the message scrawled in blood at the crime scene, Prudhomme and his partner Andrew Hollingsworth (Leland Orser) slowly begin developing a theory: a religious fanatic is removing body parts from victims bearing biblical names. During a subsequent chase scene, the crafty psycho incapacitates Hollingsworth and outfits him in his own clothes.
