A great boxing film. Anthony Quinn, Jackie Gleason and Mickey Rooney turn in magnificent performances in Rod Serling's unforgettable drama of abiding friendship and the abuse of trust. Quinn stars as a 17-year veteran of the ring who's badly beaten by a young opponent (Muhammad Ali) and goes to heroic lengths to cover the losses of his long-time manager (Gleason), who bet against him.
