1973, Movie, PG, 89 mins

This PSYCHO-like film stars Locke as a young girl secluded from the world in the gloomy mansion of her mother, Ure, and grandmother, Hasso. She creates a world of her own, her prime companion her doll, Aaron, which she believes can kill people. When her long-absent father, Shaw, shows up with Kellerman, Locke loses the little control she maintains over herself and goes on a killing rampage, doing away with everyone but Shaw and Kellerman. An atmosphere of sexual confusion is maintained throughout and reaches its climax with the revelation that Locke was originally a boy. Locke is very effective in her psychotic role, giving the story an eerie quality that is otherwise lacking. leave a comment
