A camp for underprivileged city boys is the object of some good deeds by Allen and his sidekick, Switzer (THE LITTLE RASCALS). The boys of the camp are blamed for the death of the landowner, whose daughter then refuses to renew the camp's mortgage. Allen sets her straight by proving the
men of the local sawmill are actually the guilty parties, because of their greedy desires to get at the valuable timber on the property. During this process Smokey the Bear makes a few points about careless forest fires and the need to preserve the woods.
