Oscar and Emmy winner Maureen Stapleton died on Monday from chronic pulmonary disease. The longtime smoker was 80. Well-known for the down-to-earth toughness she brought to her roles, Stapleton's long list of credits included Cocoon, Reds, Airport, Interiors and Bye Bye Birdie.... Peter Tomarken, host of the 1980s game show Press Your Luck, died in a small-plane crash on Monday morning. He was 63.
