Bennett and Halliday are a happily married couple, until Bennett is taken in by pretty chorus girl Burgess. He divorces his wife to marry the girl, only to be wound around her fingertips while she nonchalantly cheats on him. Almost to the point of tears, Bennett goes back to his first
wife, who lovingly takes him back in. Strong performances help save an overly stereotyped script.
