The Last Rebel: Review

New York Jets' quarterback Joe Namath should have stayed in the huddle instead of going to Spain and Italy to make this terrible western. Set is Missouri at the end of the Civil War, the story features the rebellious Namath and his equally rebellious partner, Elam, raising a ruckus in a small town after they rescue Strode from a lynching. A poorly scripted picture, THE LAST REBEL would be lame even if John Wayne had taken Namath's part. leave a comment
