One of the most intriguing murder cases from Down Under concerned the killing of rural New Zealanders Harvey and Jeannette Crewe. Eventually, a young farmer named Arthur Thomas was tried and convicted for their murder, only to be pardoned in 1979 after David Yallop's hard-hitting book re-opened the case.
