In what was originally a pilot for a TV series that never made it to the air, Oakland plays a New York district attorney who believes that Jordan, accused of killing another man in a fight over Helm, is innocent. Several witnesses testify against Jordan, but Oakland still supports him. Jordan is sentenced and executed, maintaining his innocence to the very end.
