Members of the Burbank Karate Club are out on a cruise when their ship is attacked by a group of ex-hippies protecting their illegal jade market. The hippies kidnap prostitutes to trade to local monks for jade. Naturally, the monks use the girls in a cannibalistic ritual that raises dead
martial arts experts. It's all an excuse for martial arts exhibitions, soft-core sex, and other diversions. Filmed mostly in Hong Kong and the Philippines, this flesh-and-fantasy film uses quite a bit of footage from the equally campy--but much better--PIRANHA (1978). As weird as they come.
