Weakly scripted and poorly directed, this film concerns an English author who travels to the backwoods of Australia, where he meets a trader and a sheepherder and takes to traveling about the country, reciting poetry along the way. War breaks out and the three men find themselves
fighting together at Tobruk, where all but the sheepherder are killed. A very lame picture.
