In an odd twist for a western, Neal battles with her husband, Morgan, over ownership of their large ranch. The feud is touched off when Morgan applies for a loan to build a new watering system, but Neal gets other ideas. She plans to take hold of the entire ranch by leaving Morgan, swinging investor Forbes onto her side, and marrying him.
