Breen, RKO's answer to Shirley Temple, stars in this soaper as a Southern tyke forced to leave his loving mammy, Beavers, and to go to New York when it is discovered that he has relatives up there. Shipped off against his will, Breen soon makes a bad impression on his grandmother, Robson,
who decides the kid's no good. To make matters worse, Breen's nasty aunt, Hume, makes the boy's life miserable and subjects him to her bratty kids, who drive him to run away from home. He is caught by kindly butler Butterworth, who convinces Breen he has gotten off on the wrong foot with Robson,
