It had all become a bit silly to Lamour in what seemed to be her millionth "sarong" movie, so she keeps a charming, self-effacing profile throughout this South Seas epic. Sailors Bracken, Lamb, and Sullivan find themselves washed up on a desert island, the only survivors of a ship that has been sunk by the Japanese. They capture a Japanese plane and, after a harrowing escape, they crash-land on another island populated with beautiful, scantily clad native girls, and equally unclothed native boys who like to roast white men for dinner.
