The Raiders: Review

Film noir star Conte turns in his slouch hat and mounts a horse for this change-of-genre performance. Conte is the leader of a group of miners trying to scrape out an existence in the California Territory in 1849. Trouble arises when villainous combine leader Ankrum begins snatching the honest miners' land through increasingly brutal methods. With the help of formerly wealthy Mexican landowner Martin, Conte is able to organize a defense unit to strike back at Ankrum. leave a comment
